About Broward's Homeless Initiative Partnership
Broward County's Homeless Initiative Partnership Section (HIP) is the designated Collaborative Applicant and the Advisory Board Coordinator for the Broward County Homeless Continuum of Care (HCoC) Board. Broward County also is the designated Lead Agency for the HCoC's Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). HIP provides support to the Local Homeless Providers and Stakeholders Council which meets monthly to discuss strategies and points of advocacy to end homelessness in the County.
HIP is committed to ending homelessness in Broward County. We believe every county resident deserves a place to call home, and we are doing our part to make this a reality. Through collaboration with a network of community-based organizations, advocates, residents, and local businesses, HIP is addressing homelessness at its root causes and forging a new path for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
