Due to limited funding, Broward County is not able to accept new applications and/or process recertification applications at this time. Our goal has always been to serve as many households as possible with these limited dollars.

The Broward County Commission received a final round of funding from the federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), in an initiative that enables local governments to allocate emergency funding to residents who are suffering financially during or as a result of the pandemic. Over the past three years, this funding, along with other funding through Broward County Family Success programs, has helped thousands of Broward County residents behind on their rent or utilities. Applications continue to be processed in the order they were received, with applications in active eviction through the courts being prioritized.

If applicants still need assistance with rent or utilities, they may contact 211 or your nearest Family Success Center to be screened for assistance or to receive information about referrals from other community resources.

Use the link below to check the status of an application you have already submitted. Be aware that processing times are currently longer than normal due to the volume of requests already received. If you need more information, call 954-831-ERAP (3727).
