Development and Environmental Regulation ensures that the regional impacts of proposed development are addressed through the provision of adequate facilities and services, and that plans for such developments comply with the Land Development Code and the Natural Resource Protection Code. Development and Environmental Regulation conducts plat, development and environmental reviews, administers the County’s impact fee and concurrency programs, and collects information that is used to monitor the County’s growth, development and environmental quality.
