Calls placed to 911 are answered by dispatchers at one of 10 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) in Broward County. They will do all they can to help you by asking questions to get complete information so that the appropriate responders will be sent to help. It is important that you answer all the dispatcher’s questions and stay on the line until you are told it’s OK to hang up.
