Answer: The Consolidated Regional System enhances public safety for all Broward County residents and visitors while realizing efficiencies by standardizing operations.

Question: What are Broward County’s responsibilities in the Consolidated Regional System?

Answer: Broward County maintains governance, management, performance, planning, implementation and oversight of the Consolidated Regional System to ensure transparency and accountability on the delivery of call-taking, teletype (queries only), and dispatching services.

Question: What is the responsibility of the municipalities in the Consolidated Regional System?

Answer: Local municipalities are responsible for any outstanding employee obligations that have accrued prior to October 1, 2013. In addition, the municipalities are responsible for ensuring that they have executed agreements required to join the Consolidated Regional System and to access data from the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS).​

Answer: The Consolidated Regional PSAP locations are Coconut Creek, Pembroke Pines and Sunrise.

Question: Who will operate the Consolidated Regional System?

Answer: The Broward Sheriff’s Office will provide this service on behalf of the County under a performance contract.
