The Cultural Executive Committee was assembled following its original mission of this sub-committee of the Broward Cultural Council (an association of the larger organizations) and to align with the CreativeBROWARD 2020 community cultural plan.
Meetings are held throughout the year as needed. The Cultural Executive Committee is now comprised of the executive directors of Broward-based cultural organizations with annual budgets of $450,000 or above.
The Broward Arts Connection (BAC) meeting has been formed for small to mid-sized organizations.

Committees are set up to implement annual or multi-year goals.
Members are urged to sit on committees that are of interest to them. Committee business should be handled at the committee level and not in regular meetings.
If policy decisions cannot be agreed upon by the committee, their report should be reviewed at the Executive Committee prior to the regular meeting of the BCC.
