Oscar Pulido
Oscar Pulido is a creative, crafty, patient, inquisitive, resourceful and self-described “secretly geeky” illustrator, sculptor and designer! A graduate of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelors in Media Arts & Animation, he is the recipient of an award for “Best Animation Demo Reel,” during his time at the Art institute.

Oscar brings to the Cultural Division his skills in desktop publishing, advertising and branding, with experience ranging from commercial printing to e-publishing.

Well versed in traditional animation techniques, as well as sculpting and illustrating, Pulido also worked as an artist/instructor at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL, where he instructed in animation sessions and created character artwork for the “Animation Academy.” At Disney, he was recognized for excellence by the Disney corporate magazine “Eyes & Ears.”

His past work experience also involves developing e-books and interactive content for digital readers and mobile devices at ePub Developer: Evolve Books, and designing for advertising , branding, commercial printing, signs and vehicle wraps, at design firms such as  An Image Signs & Printing and Right Brain Branding.

He credits himself with his passion for animation, toys, fantasy art, Muppets, comics, 80’s metal, teaching, kid’s books, gadgets, shiny objects and cooking.
