This acrylic on canvas painting is from a series of seven works entitled "Florida Envelope Series". By depicting an abstracted water surface on a legal size inter-departmental envelope with tied buttons and string in an illusionist style, artist Miles Batt succeeded in unifying seven paintings of diverse stylistic articulation into a cohesive thematic presentation. The artwork is installed at the Departure level of Terminal 3.
