Port Everglades - Cruise Terminal 25

In partnership with Port Everglades, located in Broward County, Florida, Broward Cultural Division's Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team (Artist) to design, fabricate and install artwork with a technological component in the Passenger Check-In Hall of Port Everglades, Cruise Terminal 25. The Check-In Hall wall has opportunities for backlighting and the artwork shall create visual interest and stimulation in the Hall. The artwork shall take its inspiration from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ship, Celebrity Edge.​

Florida International Trade and Culture Expo (FITCE)  


Call to Artists: The FITCE Cultural Program Committee will be selecting professional artists to exhibit, perform, and engage audiences during the upcoming 2017 Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) on October 17, 18, 2017 at Broward County Convention Center. Artists (all disciplines) interested are invited to complete, and submit, this application in order to be considered.
From October 17-18, Broward County and all of South Florida will welcome local and international companies for a unique opportunity to engage key leaders, experts and attendees from around the world to participate in dialogues relating to international trade, foreign direct investment and culture. The goal of FITCE is to expand Broward County as the premier importing and exporting trading capital, while helping to establish new businesses and nurture existing businesses to spur continued growth.

Chalk Lit


 Broward County Main Library invites you to take part in Ft. Lauderdale's 
inaugural chalk art festival. 
This free family friendly event will feature live 2D and 3D chalk artists creating large scale murals in the north plaza of the Main Library. Come experience delicious food trucks, music, crafting with Blick Art Supply and the unique experience of watching street painting unfold before your eyes on the pavement.

The Chalk Lit Festival’s theme is 'Literature', part of the National Endowment
for the Arts’ Big Read? Community Reading Program. 4'x6', 5'x5', or 6'x6' spaces available.
