Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International
Airport Volunteer Ambassadors are trained in customer service to assist
passengers with many questions they have about the airport facilities
or services. The information they provide includes directions to particular
airlines, gates, restaurants, internet services, rental car services, ground
transportation, hotels and tourist information. They help support Broward
County Aviation Department’s commitment to exceptional customer service.
Volunteer Ambassadors are located in each of the terminals and can be
recognized by their distinguished red jackets. They introduce
visitors to the spirit of the Greater Fort Lauderdale area: friendly,
outgoing, and caring. They are diplomats of goodwill making a positive
impression on the more than 22 million passengers traveling through the
Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport each year. Anyone
interested in becoming a Volunteer Ambassador can contact our
Volunteer Coordinator (954) 359-2589.
