• Directions: 
o From I-95: Take S.R. 84 east to SW 4th Ave., go south (right turn) to Perimeter Road, make right on Perimeter Road and follow roadway to the west side of the Airport. Lot will be on the left-hand side near gate 300 entrance.

o From US1: Take S.R. 84 west to S.W. 4th Ave. and follow direction above to Perimeter Road.

Relocation of Ride-Sharing Pick-Up Locations

• Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 6:00 a.m.  Ride-Sharing, also known as Transportation Network Companies (TNCs), pick-up locations will be relocated. Ride-Sharing is a prearranged ground transportation service through a smartphone application.
  • New Locations:
    o Lower level only
    o Located on the inner curb of the Ground Transportation Areas (GTAs) between Terminals 1 & 2 and 3 & 4
    o Designated pick-up locations are depicted on the above map.
• Follow Airport signage for Ride-Sharing with a cell phone symbol.

Relocation of Taxi and Shared-Ride Hold Lot

Effective: Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 6 AM

  • Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 6:00 a.m. The Taxi Cab and Shared Ride vehicle staging area will be relocated to the southeast corner of the airport. 
• Address: 500 NE 10th Street, Dania Beach, Florida 33315.
 
• Directions: From Griffin Road proceed east, crossing US-1 onto 10th Street. From US-1, northbound/southbound, proceed east onto 10th Street, from the intersection of Griffin Road and US-1.

Ravenswood Road Bridge Replacement Project 

Effective: Monday, December 26, 2017

Road and Bridge is open
 
                                             
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has reopened the Ravenswood Road Bridge.
 
The bridge is expected to be opened to vehicular traffic with periodic single-lane closures, which may occur within the work zone, until anticipated project completion, early 2018.

Rental Car Center Shuttle Upper-Level Terminal Stops

  • Due to guest safety and vehicle traffic, the Rental Car Center (RCC) Shuttle will stop at the least congested location at the ends of the terminals.  
  • Effective: Friday, March 4, 2016.  
  • Time: 9 a.m.

Shuttle Operational Safety

Consider the Following When Using Airport Shuttles
  • The boarding process is first come first board.
  • Do not cut the line in front of the traveling public and other employees.
  • Remain seated on the shuttle when a seat is available.
  • Hold on to handrails if standing while shuttle is in motion.
  • Do not sit on luggage racks.
  • For safety reasons the operator will not re-open the doors once closed.
  • Allow the operator room to move freely from his/her seat to luggage racks and doorways.
  • Do not engage the operator in conversation while driving.

  • Gate 100 and Garages.
  • Vehicles must be attended at all times and are subject to security inspections.
Between now and November 16th, our enforcement will be reminding drivers of the forthcoming policy.

Delivery Vehicle Locations Upper Level

  • Deliveries are not authorized on the upper level.
  • All delivery vehicles are subject to a security inspection and shall be attended at all times.
Between now and November 16th, our enforcement will be reminding drivers of the forthcoming policy.

Permanent Road Closures

 SW 14th Terrace and SW 40th Street between Perimeter Road and SW 12th Terrace will be closed

Effective: September 1, 2015

SW 14th Terrace and SW 40th Street between Perimeter Road and SW 12th Terrace will be permanently closed to traffic.
 
Please use Lee Wagener Boulevard to access the FAA Tower, Signature Flight Support and Bombardier Aerospace.

Pedestrian Safety

Pedestrians should only use the crosswalks For the safety of our employees and traveling public, DO NOT JAYWALK !

“Jaywalking – to illegal or recklessly cross a roadway outside of a designated walkway as a pedestrian.”
 

Update

  • Pedestrians walking to Terminal 3 from the Palm Garage should use the pedestrian crosswalk located on the southernmost end of Terminal 3.
  • Pedestrians walking to Palm Garage from Terminal 3 should also use the pedestrian crosswalk located on the southernmost end of Terminal 3.
  • Safety of all FLL pedestrians and vehicle drivers is one of our top priorities.
  • Pedestrians must use a marked crosswalk to cross a roadway.
 
 

Note 

  • Violators Subject To Fine- pedestrians who are not using provided crosswalks.
  • Broward Sheriff's Office will issue citations for jaywalking and the fine associated with the jaywalking citation.
