Free Microchips Continue at Rabies Clinics

This year, FREE microchips are available with the purchase of a rabies vaccine and Broward County Rabies Registration License tag at all Rabies Clinics. The microchips are funded by a grant provided by PetSmart Charities® to help protect pets and increase their chances of getting back home in case they become lost. Both the rabies vaccine and County tag are required by law and will automatically be administered at the Clinic. If your pet has already received a rabies vaccination and license, please bring proof of the shot and tag with you! For information regarding this month’s Clinic, please see the Community Events section below, or visit our website for the 2018 Rabies Clinic calendar.

Foster Parents Needed!

Kitten Season has begun! Our Adoption Center is currently in great need of Foster Parents to help care for our young kittens until they are old enough (2 months old) and big enough (2 lbs) to be placed into adoption.

Animal Care will provide kitten food, basic pet supplies and medical care. All we need is for our Broward County residents to provide a safe and loving environment.

We also provide community service hours for high school and college students, as well as those in medical and nursing programs.

If you can help, please e-mail our Foster Coordinator at foster@broward.org.
