Important Scheduling Information

In preparation for our transition to the new Animal Care Adoption Center, WE WILL CLOSE EARLY--at 4PM--on Thursday, November 10th, at our current shelter, located at 1870 SW 39th Street, Fort Lauderdale. The shelter will remain closed on Friday, November 11th, in honor of Veteran's Day.

Our last weekend at our current location on SW 39th Street, will be Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th. We will be open from 11AM to 4PM for adoptions both days.

The Grand Opening of our new shelter, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, 33312, will be Tuesday, November 15th, at 11AM.

Moving Sale Continues

To help ease the transition of pets from the old shelter to the new location, the public is invited to adopt a dog or cat now, so that fewer pets will need to be relocated as part of the move.

During the Moving Sale, the adoption fee for all pets is waived, including the $20 deposit to hold a stray/lost pet. The waived fees include all of the cuddly felines available for adoption at Pet Supermarket stores located in Broward County.

All adoptions include spaying/neutering; all necessary vaccinations; a Broward County Rabies Registration tag, and a microchip!
