Cultural Council & Committees

The Broward Cultural Division is dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of Broward County through the development of the arts.

Established in 1977 by the Broward County Commission, the Council is the central coordinating agency for the arts, serving as liaison between cultural organizations, government agencies and the private sector. The 24-member Council recommends programs and the distribution of government and private resources for the visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, museums and festivals.

Goals/Policy

Committee meeting of people.Every year, the Broward Cultural Council adopts a list of goals following a public workshop.
