Dominique Denis

Dominique Denis joined the Cultural Division in March 2014 as a Public Art & Design Project Manager. She manages Public Art projects at Port Everglades, Broward County’s libraries and public parks. Ms. Denis holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the City College of the City University of New York and a Master's of Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University, with an emphasis on sustainable design and city branding. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is currently working towards her architectural licensing.

Prior to joining the Division, she worked as a project manager for several architectural firms in the New York metropolitan area and in South Florida. Her previous work experience is in residential and mixed-use developments. She has managed projects at all phases of the design process from conceptual design to construction administration.

Ms. Denis strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to Public Art, and that art in public places can be used as a catalyst for community development and urban renewal. ​​
