Since 1969, Cultural Affairs has connected cultural funding opportunities and services to Florida’s citizens and visitors. The Florida Legislature and National Endowment for the Arts provide funding for the Division. |

The South Florida Cultural Consortium operates under an inter-local government agreement to coordinate projects and share resources for the growth of South Florida cultural activities, organizations and artists. Founded in 1960, Americans for the Arts is the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts and arts education providing a rich array of programs that meet the needs of over 150,000 members and stakeholders. They are dedicated to representing and serving local communities and creating opportunities for every American to participate in and appreciate all forms of the arts. |

American's for the Arts/Arts Action Fund PAC http://artsactionfund.org (National Bipartisan Political Action Committee) |
The Arts Action Fund PAC is the only national bipartisan political action committee devoted to electing members of Congress who will fight for the arts and arts education at the federal level. Though the Arts Action Fund itself is legally allowed to participate in many forms of advocacy, it’s only through the member-supported PAC that donations can be given directly to the campaigns of arts-friendly candidates. |

The Florida Arts CCE idenfies candidates demonstrating leadership to help sustain and increase support of its arts and cultural resources; endorses and makes campaign contributions these candidates. |
