 Biography

Madeline Denaro originally from the Bronx is currently a founding member of the Third Avenue Art District, developing an active art community in Fort Lauderdale.  Exhibiting in the US and abroad, Denaro had a solo show at the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale focusing on her large-scale paintings and sculptural installations. Actively exhibiting, she will have her third gallery show at Cheryl Hazan in NYC in October and her fifth solo show next June in Germany where Galerie Veronica Kautsch has been showing her work since 2000.

Ms. Denaro was awarded an Artist Enhancement Grant from the State of Florida  and is pleased to receive her second South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship. Committed to abstraction for over two decades, Madeline Denaro credits her education on an academic training at the South Florida Art Institute broadened by extensive independent study in London and Frankfurt.
