ArtsEd Forever celebrates the entire arts education community from educators and students to organizations, businesses and legislators in order to honor, recognize, celebrate and advocate arts education for all and will present an even more dazzling array of unsung arts education heroes, whose talent and leadership keep the arts alive for people of all ages. 
 
For 28 years the Broward County Arts Teacher of the Year Program has showcased the artistic excellence of students and faculty in Broward County schools. There is so much to celebrate!

In order to recognize, celebrate and advocate arts education for all, this new expanded program will highlight a broader array of unsung arts education heroes, whose talent and leadership keep the arts alive for people of all ages, every day and every year in Broward County.

This year awards will be given to:

• School Based Arts Teachers (one each)
Eligible are arts teachers in Broward County public, charter and private schools.

There are four (4) categories of awards — Dance, Music, Theater and Visual Arts and there will be one (1) Arts Teacher of the Year Award for each category along with a $1,500 cash award to each winner and a $500 award to the arts program of each winner 

- Application Review:                    September 1 –September 19
- Classroom Visits:                       September 22 – October 24
- Selection Panel Meetings:           October 27 – October 30
- Announcement of All Winners:     November 5, 2014 at the ArtsEd Forever Event

• Teaching Artist Recognition Award
Eligible are teaching artists who are listed in Broward Cultural Division’s Arts Education Directory. 

There will be one (1) Teaching Artist Recognition Award along with a $1,000 cash award to the winner.

Nomination Deadline:  Friday, October 3
Nomination Review:    October 6  – October 24
Selection Panel Meeting:   October 27 – October 30

Eligible are Broward-based, not-for-profit organizations with arts education as a primary focus.

• Legislator Recognition
- Public honors and recognition plaque
- Features and recognition  in Cultural Division print and online publications

Every donation makes a difference.  Consider purchasing either a full or half page ad or congratulatory message.  A minimum of five hundred (500), full color programs are printed and distributed at the event.

Send a congratulatory message in the Commemorative Program  Booklet. Messages will be placed within a ¼ page ad space, live area of 2”W x 3”H

 Full and half page advertisements will be accepted via email, in PDF in full color or black and white.  Congratulatory message text can also be sent via email.
