Arts Education
Broward County > Cultural Home > Arts Education

Arts Education is an investment in the future of a community.  Time and time again it is statistically proven that:

  • the arts improve kids' overall academic performance;
  • kids actively engaged in arts education are likely to have higher test scores than those with little to no involvement;
  • the arts develop skills needed by the 21st century workforce: critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication, teamwork;
  • art education teaches kids to be more tolerant and open;
  • the arts allow kids to express themselves creatively and bolster their self-confidence and keep students engaged in school and less likely to drop out.

Get involved with this visionary process through some of the links listed below.
