David Griggs
Biography

David Griggs is a Denver-based artist who has completed over 45 commissioned works of art throughout the United States. A graduate of the University of Colorado/Boulder with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts, he has worked in many capacities in the arts, including gallery manager, museum preparator, and studio artist. Primarily a designer of architecturally integrated, site-responsive Public Art, he has also participated in a dozen Master Planning and Design Team projects, including the Design Team for Hope, Arkansas, President Bill Clinton’s birthplace. Recent commissions include projects for Albuquerque, Anchorage, Dallas, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Madison, San Antonio, Santa Fe, and Washington. His work is installation-based, engaging the audience with visual intimacy and physical interactivity. With a heightened sensitivity to the many qualities of a site’s function and history, his work resonates with the character of its site.

Scott Parsons
Biography

Scott Parsons has worked in the field of public art for 20 years. He has received numerous commissions across the United States and Canada. His work includes percent-for-art and private commissions for airports, churches, museums, research facilities, university buildings and transportation centers. Parsons was recognized by Art in America for creating one of the most significant works of public art in the United States in 2002. He has received national and international awards for his art, including Project of the Year Honor Awards in terrazzo in both the United States and Canada. His work is reviewed widely, including Art in America, Sculpture, Architectural Record, Stained Glass Quarterly and Public Art Review. He has exhibited at the South Dakota Art Museum, the Dahl Arts Center, the Nicolaysen Art Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
