A large scale photographic printing on panels with found objects, Fort Lauderdale based artist Kyle Barnette explored the theme of Shipyard by incorporated objects he collected around the Port, which include ladder, safety cone, inner tube and other miscellaneous items. The artwork is installed on the second floor of the waiting lounge at Terminal 25, viewing is limited to port passengers only.

"Shipyard" displays a balance between human development and the natural surroundings. Animals can coexist with humans, provided we research the needs of the natural world and work within this framework."
