Public Art in BMSD
 
Broward Municipal Services District, (formerly known as Unincorporated Broward County) consists of 2.45 square miles with a population of approximately 15,000 residents.

There are seven neighborhoods in the District; four are located in Central County (Boulevard Gardens, Franklin Park, Roosevelt Gardens and Washington Park); and two in Northern County (Hillsboro Pines, Hillsboro Ranches, Hillsboro Pines, Hillsboro Ranches) and Broadview Park.

Ruth Burotte was selected from a pool of seven applicants to design, fabricate and install eight unique site specific artworks to be applied to eight traffic signal cabinets located in the Broward Municipal Services District (BMSD), Broward County, Florida.
