NATIONAL CALL TO ARTISTS 

Harold Reitman Boys & Girls Club Mural

Broward Cultural Division's Public Art & Design program in collaboration with the Harold Reitman Boys and Girls Club seeks to commission a professional artist or artist team for a site specific exterior mural. The primary site for the mural is the south exterior wall of the Boys and Girls Club. The selected artist or artist team may also address the building's north façade.
  
Professional artists eighteen years of age or older, residing in the United States and with experience managing large scale mural projects may apply. For more information click the link below. The total budget established for the project is not to exceed $14,000.​
 


 
LIMITED CALL TO SOUTH FLORIDA ARTISTS 

PORT EVERGLADES CRUISE TERMINAL 25, VIP LOUNGE

In partnership with Port Everglades, Broward County, Florida, Broward Cultural Division's Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team (Artist) to design and implement a wall treatment located on the second floor of Cruise Terminal 25 VIP lounge entry way. The artwork should engage traveling guests in the VIP Security Screening and Lounge and complement the exciting and innovative aesthetics of the Cruise Terminal 25 interior spaces. ​
 

 
CALL TO SOUTH FLORIDA ARTISTS 

Jet Blast Deflector Panel

The Broward Cultural Division Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission a professional artist or team of artists to visually transform a jet blast deflecto​r at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The airport's north runway jet blast deflector is a 445 foot long by 5 foot 10 inches high, curved, corrugated metal wall (actual panel height is 8 feet). The wall is a safety device, and its purpose is to redirect high-energy exhaust from airplanes away from the surrounding area. The wall is visible to passengers on airplanes taxing to and from the terminals (arriving and departing). The rear side of the wall, which may or may not be painted, faces interstate I-95 and Perimeter Road.​ The total budget established for the project is $30,000.

PORT EVERGLADES EXECUTIVE SUITES LOBBY ARTWORK

  Due: October 1, 2018
  


In partnership with Port Everglades, Broward County, Florida, Broward Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team (Artist) to transform the Administration Building’s sixth floor support column located in the Lob​by of the Executive Offices. The proposed artwork shall be a mural, visible to all visitors accessing the lobby. The proposed artwork shall contribute to the Port’s resolve to establish an artistic sense of place for Port Everglades visitors. The total budget established for this project shall not exceed $1,000.

4TH ANNUAL FLORIDA TRADE AND CULTURAL EXPO

Call to Artists: The Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) Cultural Program Committee will be selecting professional artists to exhibit and engage audiences during the upcoming 2018 Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) on October 17, 18, 2018 at Broward County Convention Center. Artists (all disciplines) interested are invited to complete, and submit, this application in order to be considered.​
