Broward County Main Library invites you to Ft. Lauderdale's inaugural chalk art festival. 
This free family friendly event will feature live 2D and 3D chalk artists creating large scale murals in the north plaza of the Main Library. Come experience delicious food trucks, music, crafting with Blick Art Supply and the unique experience of watching street painting unfold before your eyes on the pavement

Artists of All Ages

If this is your first time trying street painting, bring your enthusiasm and creativity, and we’ll provide the chalk.
Spaces will be limited. Come as a spectator or apply as an artist for this FREE family friendly event.

The Chalk Lit Festival’s theme is 'Literature', 
part of the
 National Endowment for the Arts’ Big Read​ Community Reading Program.
