A Pioneer Village is being developed on the site to tell the story of Davie’s early culture. The 1912 Viele House and the c. 1914 Walsh-Osterhoudt Home have been relocated to the site and are currently undergoing restoration. They will be opened as museums of early 20th century pioneer life in the Spring of 2008. Having always served the area as an educational and community center, Old Davie School continues in this role as a museum of local history and culture. Museum Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM-2 PM and by appointment. Office Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM
Scrapbooks from early Davie (1910) to current date; 1908 Replica Pioneer House, 1912 Viele House, c. 1914 Walsh-Osterhoudt Home. The Museum Gallery showcases local artists through six exhibits from October to June and an annual juried art exhibition during the summer; volunteers for heritage education program.
