Purpose:
City Festivals and Events pledges to invest in the community through the production of innovative quality entertainment and activities; to create a social environment that reflects the overall diversity of the community and build a partnership through knowledge, understanding and leadership; to produce cutting edge festivals and events that have a reputation for high standards of quality and excellence. Create an atmosphere that encourages community involvement and provides opportunities for social interaction.


Projects:
January – December: Suntrust Sunday Jazz Brunch. 1st Sunday each month. 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk. Free
February 6 – 8: Dragon Boats & Buskers Festival. Riverwalk/Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Free
May 6 – 9: 12th Annual Cajun/Zydeco Crawfish Festival. Fort Lauderdale Festival Site. Admission cost
June 18 – August 13. Bank of America Starlight Musicals. 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Holiday Park. Each Friday night. Free
July 4: July 4th Family Celebration. Fort Lauderdale Beach. Free
November 5 – 7: 18th Annual Sound Advice Blues Festival. Fort Lauderdale Festival Site. Admission cost
