ArtsUnited, Inc.'s mission is to use the arts to break down historical barriers preventing lesbians and gays from contributing fully and openly to the cultural, social and economic success of South Florida. We strive to accomplish our mission by providing programming and networking opportunities to GLBT artists and performers, and working with art and cultural institutions to include gays and lesbian in their outreach and programming.

   Art at Storks, Monthly art exhibits at Storks Bakery in Wilton Manors
   Films 4 Us, Monthly GLBT film series at Cinema Paradiso
   Arts NightOUT, monthly outings to various art and cultural institutions to highlight GLBT programming
   Eleven Bridges Mural Project, a program to encourage murals throughout Wilton Manors
   Ribbons for the Children, Art donation and exhibit to support Childrens Diagnostic and Treatment Center

Over the years, ArtsUnited has consistently collaborated with the Broward Art Guild, 9Muses Art Center, Broward County Libraries, Stonewall Library and Archives, Stork’s Bakery, ArtServe, Cinema Paradiso, Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, to produce quality programming that has been popular with Broward County residents. ArtsUnited has also used the arts to help other nonprofits raise money such as the annual Ribbons for the Children Exhibit.
