Purpose:
The Chopin Foundation of the United States is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the support of young talented American pianists in their struggle for career recognition. It also aims to making classical music accessible to the general audiences.


Projects:
American National Chopin Piano Competition, initiated in 1975, open to American native-born or naturalized. Chopin Festival, a series of free and open to the public concerts with lectures in Dade and Broward counties; The Polonaise, the Foundation's newsletter; Scholarship Program for Young American Pianists.
