Purpose:
Directors, actors, stage managers, set designers, costume and makeup artists undergo a tremendous process to entertain an audience. From constant rehearsals to set, light and costume re-designs, there’s no doubt that the process of producing quality theatre requires disciplined, collaborative professionals. With Broward College’s Theatre program, you will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will lay the foundation for a successful future in acting or theatre production.

Projects:
Broward College is home to two performance arts venues: The Fine Arts Theatre on Central Campus in Davie and the Performing Cultural Arts Theatre on North Campus in Coconut Creek. At the end of the semester, your studies will culminate in a production held at one of the two performance venues. Continuous performances are also available as a member of the Theatre student club, 4th Wall.
