Purpose: Since 1965, Broward College Central Campus's Fine Arts Gallery exhibited art works from over 150 regional, national and international artists such as Carl Andre, Judy Chicago, Yuri Dojc, Duane Hanson, Kenneth Huff, Nam June Paik and Pablo Picasso.
Replacing the Fine Arts Gallery is the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, which is 1,583 square feet in area, is a non-profit space serving BC students, faculty and the South Florida arts community. We generally have around 7-8 exhibitions per year which include two faculty shows and two students shows. Solo and group exhibitions from national and international artists are curated by our Gallery Director. Artists' works are chosen whose themes engage students and local residents in the learning experience.
Projects: Monthly featured exhibitions of both national and international artists. As well as our yearly community shows.
