To aid and support metalsmiths through meetings publicity, workshops and exhibitions; to provide metalsmiths opportunities for education and exchange of information; to broaden public knowledge, awareness and appreciation of fine hand-crafted metal work including, but not limited to, jewelry.

Monthly meetings in 5 chapters around the state, Winter workshops at New Smyrna Beach (yearly), Wildacres workshops at Little Switzerland, N.C. (yearly), "Treasures" all jewelry art festival.

Regional chapters: Northwest (Tallahassee ), Northeast (Deland/Ormand Beach), Southeast (Fort Lauderdale), Southwest (Ft. Myers), West Coast (Tampa Bay Area).
