Purpose:
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is a young and vibrating ballet company founded in 1997, under the direction of Ballet Master and Choreographer Vladimir Issaev with the purpose of presenting professional ballet performances to the public as well as outreach educational programs to the community. The company performs at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and at the Parker Playhouse of Fort Lauderdale. The company repertoire includes Firebird, Petrouchka, The Nutcracker, Chipollino, Romeo and Juliet and original works by it director Vladimir Issaev


Projects:
The Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida opens a new season of performances in October, with a Tribute to Sergei Diaghilev, the Russian art critic, patron and founder of the Ballets Russes.
This Tribute includes three pieces related to his contribution to the Ballet: The Rite of Spring, Le Spectre de la Rose and Petrouchka.
The Second program, brings back a Holiday tradition: The Nutcracker, based on the tale of Ernest Hoffman with Tchaikovsky’s popular score and choreographed and directed by Vladimir Issaev.
Following in March, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida performs its gorgeous productions of Fairy Doll. The production counts on creative and imaginative costume designer Jorge Gallardo to make all dancers look like real dolls and the sets will be digitally enhanced by the magnificent projections created by DMD. This production has been of great success among audiences that are looking for an alternative to attend with their family to see a beautiful an enchanting ballet.
Closing the Season, Arts Ballet Theatre presents its traditional Spring Gala, featuring Shostakovich Suites and Pentimento, created by choreographer Vicente Nebrada, includes excerpts from Johann Sebastian Bach's Four Suites for Orchestra.
In addition to these main productions, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will continue its partnership with The Opera Atelier and will perform at other venues throughout South Florida.
