Arts and Culture Center of Hollywood
Building community by activating alternative and underutilized spaces, Hollywood's Art and Culture Center has kickstarted three initiatives for South Florida-based professional and aspiring artists. Read about each one here.

Wilton Manors Arts and Entertainment Expo | Wilton Manors

The Wilton Manors Arts And Entertainment Expo is an original art, art walk on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors FL 33305. This season spans the 3rd Saturday of the month, 6-9 pm, Nov 2017- May 2018, 6-9 pm.Go to wmae.org/artists and scroll down Call for Artists Form. Please fill out the Artist information Form and press submit.Click the next submenu Artists Pairings to Businesses and Fees, look at the map and scroll down the listing to choose your space and pay the fee. Download the 2017-18 Artist Agreement form, read, sign and return; either by fax or attachment to an email addressed to admin@wmae.org or Fax: 954 862 5978.

Pegasus World Cup Inaugural Juried Art Exhibition | Gulfstream Park
The Pegasus World Cup Inaugural Juried Art Exhibition invites all South Florida-based artists to submit personal and unique works of arts for display at a major sporting event: the second annual Pegasus World Cup Invitational, hosted at Hallandale Beach’s Gulfstream Park on January 27, 2018. Aspiring artists may submit artistic interpretations of the mythological Pegasus, the sport of thoroughbred horse racing, or the spirit of the horse itself.  Work may be two- or three-dimensional and may be any medium – or media – best suiting the artist’s vision.  Each artist may submit up to four original images.  No single work should exceed 7 feet in height or 5 feet in width.  To apply, submit artwork in digital format to hello@socialgroupinc.com before December 20, 2017.
Art in Public Places Program: Jackson Health System Call-to-Artists
Presented by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs
The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs invites all U.S.-based professional artists and teams of artists to help create landmark artworks for the Jackson Health System Miracle-Building Program. Opportunities for public art across Jackson Health System’s four facilities comprise site-specific installations, two-dimensional and free-standing sculptural works, architectural integration, interior and exterior façade wall applications, branding, and the design of functional elements ranging from seating and fixtures to shading elements and signage. Details...

2018 Pinecrest Gardens Fine Arts Festival​
Pinecrest Gardens seeks artists for its annual fine arts festival on January 20 and 21, 2018. Best in Show and Best in Each Category winners will be named. Applications are limited to fine art: sculpture, metal, wood, ceramics, graphics, jewelry, photography, fiber, mixed media, and acrylic, oil, and watercolor painting. Twentieth Annual Artfest in the Pines | City of Pembroke Pines
Presented by the City of Pembroke Pines and Artserve on March 10 - 11, 2018, the 20th Annual ARTFEST in the Pines invites aspiring and professional artists to submit original works of two- and three-dimensional art to a juried art competition offering $4,500 in awards and cash prizes. Call for Art Proposals - Loveburn 2018
Burning Man in microcosm, this regional burn is a an imaginary reflection of the world we dream of inhabiting. Submit a project idea specifying how -- with money, time, or resources -- your group intends to support the project personally or though fundraising efforts.  Your pitch should include the names of any local exhibits or festivals featuring your artwork.  Application deadline: January 2, 2018. More info and apply here.
 
The Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program | Miami-Dade County
Aiding underserved children in Miami-Dade County, the Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program awards grant funding to non-profit organizations offering opportunities to attend high-quality cultural arts and science summer camp programs at little or no cost.  Augmenting established, high-quality programs, funding provided by the SAS-C Grant Program gives more children the opportunity to participate in cultural arts and science summer camps. A required SAS-C Pre-Grant Submission Workshop will be held at the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs on December 5, 2017, at 2:30 PM. Details... ArtFest in the Pines | Pembroke Pines

Artists are invited to apply to the Twentieth Annual ARTFEST in the PINES presented by the City of Pembroke Pines and Artserve.  ARTFEST in the Pines takes place on March 10th and 11th 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, at the City of Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center. Prize money in the amount of $4,500 will be awarded, $1,000 for Best in Show and $350 for Best in Category. December 30, 2017 is the deadline for early submission and discounted fees. The deadline for all applications is March 2, 2018

You inspire us. What inspires you? | Coral Springs Museum of Art
 The Coral Springs Museum of Art presents an exhibition demonstrating the artist’s individuality and creativity brought about by personal inspiration. This open theme, open media exhibition asks artists to complete the sentence: “My work is inspired by_______________.” Artists are invited to submit up to two works to be considered for inclusion in this exhibition. Exhibition Dates – February 10 – March 2, 2018. Works will be displayed in the Museum’s East Gallery. This is a juried exhibition. Call for Teaching Artists | The Frank

The Frank Art Gallery is seeking teaching artists to complete our art class schedule. Classes can be for adults, teens or children. Instruction in 2D, 3D and multimedia welcomed. Successful candidates will share the Frank Art Gallery’s vision for community engagement and student enrichment. Positions are available on weekdays and weekends. A minimum of one year of teaching experience and a Bachelor's Degree is required. Applicants must submit the following: Current resume of teaching experience. A letter of interest and a program overview of your typical studio art course; Photos or documentation that show examples of student work, classes taught or projects completed; Specification of preferred student age: adults, teens or children. City Vista Artist in Residence Program | Pompano Beach
The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency has issued a call for artists of all disciplines to submit applications for the City Vista Artist in Residence (AiR) program. City Vista is a mixed-use apartment building located in the heart of the developing downtown district. Artists must meet income requirements to be eligible to rent the one-and two-bedroom apartments. Artists are encouraged to submit a portfolio of their artistic work to innovate@copbfl.com.

Live Painting | W Hotel and ArtServe

ArtServe seeks live painters to dazzle the crowd at the W Hotel's Living Room Lounge for a night of creativity and fun on Wednesday evenings. This is a paid opportunity for the Featured Artist as well as a chance to expose your work to the local art scene and guests visiting South Florida. Artists on the Rise | Hollywood
Non-profit looking for talented artists to exhibit their work in monthly exhibits. Artists on the Rise was established to assist artists who are dealing with mental health disorders and use their talents as therapy to overcome these disorders . They host monthly exhibits at local businesses, where artists work is exhibited for sale to the general public. Details...​

Broward Art Guild Exhibits Open-Call Monthly Exhibits
The Broward Art Guild presents many visual art exhibitions throughout the year, hosted mostly at our gallery, and occasionally at various locations in Broward County. The majority of these are juried shows, which are judged by visual art professionals from various areas of the world of visual art. Participating artists do not have to be Guild members to enter work into our shows, unless specifically noted as a “Member’s Only” exhibit. Works entered must be presented in a professional manner. 2018 ArtsEd Forever! Award Nominations

ArtsEd-Forever-2018-PNC-600.pngPromoting public awareness of the impact wielded by arts education – and educators – on Broward County’s public, private and charter school students, this year’s ArtsEd Forever! campaign will culminate in a reception, awards ceremony and student performance showcase at Broward Center for the Performing Arts on the evening of Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Brought to you by the Cultural Division, PNC Bank and the School Board of Broward County, 2018 ArtsEd Forever! is the latest installment of a 30-year tradition celebrating the best practices of Broward County schools and community. Arts Teacher of the Year Award
Celebrating outstanding teachers, the annual Arts Teacher of the Year Award recognizes and honors dance, theater, music and visual arts teachers in Broward County public, private and charter schools. Each recipient is awarded a $3,000 cash prize and a $500 cash contribution to his or her school’s arts program. Additionally, two finalists in each subject receive a $1,000 award. Teaching Artist of the Year Award
Honoring community-based teachers of excellence, the Teaching Artist of the Year Award presents $3,000 to a single winner and $1,000 to two finalists. Apply or nominate here. Deadline: February 2, 2018.
 
Outstanding Contribution to Arts Education Award
Each year, the Outstanding Contribution to Arts Education Award recognizes one individual and one organization who have been nominated by community members for significant – and ongoing – contributions to arts education through awareness and advocacy efforts as well as the influential community usage of arts resources. The Naples Art Association announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, February 24 - March 25, 2018 in Naples, Florida. Nine cash awards totaling $3,500. National Portrait Gallery Internships | The Smithsonian Institution
The National Portrait Gallery, as a museum of the Smithsonian Institution, offers formal internships to qualified applicants. A Smithsonian internship is a prearranged, structured learning experience that takes place within a specific time period, usually two to three months. Creative Investment Program (CIP) | Broward Cultural Division

Helping artists create exhibitions, live performances, lectures, demonstrations and other arts activities engaging a Broward County audience, the Creative Investment Program (CIP) funds the development and completion of small Broward County cultural projects by individual Broward-based practicing professional artists. Learn more about the CIP application at a free workshop January 17 in the Broward County Main Library's sixth-floor Bienes Ceremonial Room. Application deadline: February 10, 2018.

Cultural Investment Program (CINV) | Broward Cultural Division

Assisting Broward-based, not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations meet their reimbursable program expenses, the CINV helps fund presentations and productions of a regular season of exhibitions, programs, events or performances open to the Broward County public. Applicants are limited to Broward-based not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations that have been designated by the Broward Cultural Council and have operated in their cultural disciplines for at least two years directly preceding their application dates. 2019 Grant Applications | Funding Arts Broward
Non-profit visual, music and performing arts organizations headquartered in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County are eligible to apply for Fab! 2019 Grant Applications to obtain funding for programs in Broward County. For an organization to apply, at least one of its active voting board members must live or work full-time in Broward County. Fab! 2019 Grants between $5,000 and - for organizations with budgets under $1 million - $10,000 may be requested. Organizations whose budgets exceed $1 million may apply for Fab! 2019 Grants between $5,000 and $15,000. Learn more about Fab! 2019 Grants here. Application deadline: January 9, 2018.

Foundation for Contemporary Art Emergency Grants
Dating back to 1993, the Foundation for Contemporary Art's Emergency Grants program has provided up to $2,000 in annual grant funding to innovative visual and performing artists encountering unanticipated expenses or sudden opportunities to present their work to the public. Emergency Grants applicants must be unable to seek other sources of funding due to time constraints -- or must have incurred unexpected expenses for nearly completed projects with committed exhibition or performance dates. A sprawling 20,000-acre working cattle ranch in Wyoming's scenic Bighorn Mountains, the UCross Foundation seeks artists of all disciplines for residencies lasting two to six weeks.
