with the cities, the State of Florida and the Federal government to facilitate
the development and the financing of affordable housing in Broward County. Federal
and State funding support the following programs: Single Family Housing Rehabilitation,
Residential Redevelopment, Beautification and Minor Home Repair, Water/Sewer
Connection and Counseling and Education Services, Down Payment/Closing Costs
Assistance, New Construction of single family and multifamily homes, Special
Needs/Barrier Free Architectural design, and Foreclosure Prevention.
