Purchase Assistance:
  The City of Plantation has applications available for Housing Rehabilitation and Purchase Assistance (availalbe August 8, 2016).  Funding is targeted for the very low, low and moderate income households, with priority given to special needs households.  More information at crafla.com or (954) 431-7877, option 3. 

 

 

Public Hearing:  The City of Wilton Manors will hold public hearings for the upcoming 43rd Year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program at the August 23, 2016 City  Commission meeting.  Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to provide input or suggestions for projects.  The "Highland Estates" area is eligible for funding as is the entire west side of the City (all areas west of Andrews Avenue).  The City is looking for program or capital project suggestions - large purchases or physical projects to enhance neighborhoods.  The City is anticipating receiving approximately $64,000 in funding for this cycle.  Questions may be directed to Todd DeJesus, Capital Projects and Grants Manager at tdejesus@wiltonmanors.com or (954) 390-2105.

New Homes for Sale  The Housing Finance Authority of Broward County (HFA) in partnership with Broward County Housing Finance and Community Development (HFCDD) is financing the construction of 18 new homes in the Broward Municipal Services District neighborhood of Franklin Park Estates.
