Webinar: Veteran Homelessness 101 This webinar will provide participants with a foundation of knowledge about the movement to end veteran homelessness. Progress will be reviewed – examining critical program components and systems change – that has effectively ended veteran homelessness in 2 states and 24 communities. Gaps in service, trends for the future, and the implications for HVRPs grantees will also be discussed. The webinar will be facilitated by Cindy Borden (NCHV) and John Rio, MA, CRC (AHP). The NOFA establishes policy priorities aimed at accelerating progress on Opening Doors. Florida Housing Finance Corporation RFA Process Workshop  At this workshop, Florida Housing intends to solicit comments and suggestions from interested persons relative to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) Request for Applications (RFAs) issued in 2015 and early 2016, and the RFA process in general. Florida Housing hopes to encourage a good discussion about what’s working, what’s not working, and what can be improved. Staff will also discuss the following criteria that will be included in some of the RFAs: Areas of Opportunity, SAIL Workforce Housing funding, and National Housing Trust Fund, as well as the development and management proficiency criteria that will be tied to future allocations.
