Housing Authorities in Broward County
Story 1
Established under Chapter 421, Florida Statutes, the six Housing Authorities in Broward County work to create vibrant communities, build quality affordable housing, and support the success of residents who either reside in Housing Authority-owned complexes or who receive Housing Choice Vouchers. They seek to nurture their neighborhoods and residents by creating and supporting services that promote stability and self-sufficiency for individuals and/or families that meet the federal guidelines for admission to their programs. If you are on a limited income and need housing assistance, contact your local housing authority listed below for the information on Section 8 housing choice vouchers. There is usually a waiting list for this program.
The Public and Indian Housing One-Stop Tool (POST) are for housing authorities. POST is a website that enables housing authorities to quickly access HUD systems, tools, program requirements, and much more.
