Continuum of Care Program Receives its Third Round of Grants

HUD Continuum of Care Grants U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD’s) Continuum of Care Program has just been bolstered by $52 million in grants allocated for more than 200 homeless supportive services and housing along with grants targeted for local programing throughout the nation, including Broward County. Earlier this year HUD requested communities to delve deep into the root of their area’s homelessness including their current programing and provide fresh strategies for the successful eradication of homelessness. Broward County conducted its own research via “Community Ten Year Plan Update Charrette” which took place this past April and proved very informative.
