Nearly 450 homeless individuals received shelter and meals during the most recent cold weather emergency advisory issued for March 1-3 for Broward County. Broward County's Homeless Initiative Partnership, charged with maintaining a countywide continuum of care for the homeless, had four facilities open from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. each of those days.
