NLIHC Publishes New Report: Out of Reach 2013

The annual study published by National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) features tables, maps and statistical data outlining low-income renters' present situation. Out of Reach 2013 exposes the current economic state of renters who work in towns they cannot afford to live in because of the high cost of living rates and low wages. There is a reported 35 percent of all households now renting, as opposed to owning a home, since the recession and the cost of rental rates has risen causing affordable housing for low-income renters harder to obtain.
