HUD is Second Hardest Hit by Government Shutdown

​The government shutdown has resulted in numerous agencies having to halt their services until Congress passes a new budget.  Not all agencies are affected the same; the government determines which agencies are less essential.  The second hardest hit agency is the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with an astounding 96% of its employees furloughed.  HUD has 8,709 employees of which only 349 will be reporting to work.  More…
