Model Practices: Energy Efficiency Program for Low Income Housing

Pennsylvania’s Lancaster City Housing Authority implemented the E-Power Master-Metered Low-Income Apartment Program within two of its residential developments and has experienced  $17,000 annual cost savings.  The program is the collaborate efforts of the National Housing Trust, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project, and various stakeholders to address energy efficiency within multifamily affordable housing stock.  More…
