National Alliance to End Homelessness

Stuart Campbell discusses the history of rapid re-housing and its effect on ending homelessness.  Rapid re-housing is the practice of placing homeless population into homes without conditions such as sobriety.  Great success has been found from rapid re-housing, “Studies have shown that between 80 to 90 percent of families that exit rapid re-housing programs do not return to homelessness, significantly higher than other common strategies.”  More…
