Report cover

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
May 30, 2014

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) collaborated and published the report “Housing for Youth Aging Out of Foster Care.”  The report explores housing options, evaluation of Family Unification Program (FUP) vouchers, homelessness risks, and proposes future research and evaluation tactics.  The Interagency Council on Homelessness amended their plan to end homelessness, “Opening Doors”, based on information gleaned from this report, in an effort to achieve the goal of eliminating homelessness by 2020.
