No View Like Vista View on the 4th

Celebrate the 4th of July at Vista View Park in Davie. Get to the park early to get a panoramic view of firework displays from across Broward County. Dependent on weather conditions, viewers may be able to see the displays from Davie, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Sunrise, and possibly Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. Most of those shows are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.  are 7:30 – 10PM, $1.50/person until 7:30 p.m. $2/person after 7:30 p.m. Call the park at 954-357-8898.

Attend a Rabies Clinic and Keep Your Pet Healthy

The next Rabies Clinic is Saturday, July 8th, from 9AM to 2PM at the Catharine Young Library, 5810 Park Drive, Margate. Cost for a one-year rabies vaccination and Broward County Rabies Registration tag is $25 for dogs and cats that are spayed/neutered; and $35 for pets that are not spayed/neutered. Explore the Lunar Surface on Earth

It’s the 48th Anniversary Celebration of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing. Stop by the Main Library, 6th floor on Thursday, July 20th, from noon to 1PM for this historic anniversary. Ibianny V. Salcedo, NASA Solar System Ambassador will explain how astronauts visited locations on Earth that resembled places they would explore on the moon. 21st & 22nd

Superhero Splash Bash Happening at Quiet Waters Park
