Soar With Reading – Free Books!
Thousands of children in our community are the fortunate recipients of JetBlue’s successful “Soar With Reading” program, designed to get books into the hands of kids that need them most to encourage reading. Specially designed vending machines dispense new, free books for kids ages 1-14 and are available through August 31st at the County’s Edgar P. Mills Multi-Purpose Center, 900 NW 31st Avenue, Broward County’s Riverland Library, 2710 W. Davie Boulevard, and the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Joseph C. Carter Park, 1450 W. Sunrise Boulevard and Osswald Park, 2220 NW 21st Avenue.

Bring Your Tots to the New Active Learning Center
Broward Libraries' new Active Learning Center is now open for our community's babies and toddlers. Located on the second floor of the Main Library, 100 S. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, the ALC is an educationally rich children's play space that provides developmentally appropriate activities to promote school readiness in children from birth to five years old.
