Dear Broward County Business Leader:

Few things have as much impact on a community’s economic vitality as a healthy and successful business community, and few locations offer as much business appeal as Broward County. Our business community is a productive partnership between the County, 31 diverse municipalities, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, and thousands of individual business owners and operators like you.

Broward County Government has always strived to provide a climate where business could not only survive, but thrive. While business advocacy is nothing new for the Broward County Commission, as part of my Broward Means Business initiative this year, I want to emphasize that our Office of Economic and Small Business Development will be working even harder to enhance our small business mentoring programs, loan programs and technical assistance, and offer new, innovative and imaginative solutions to the challenges facing companies today.

Please help me make 2014 a banner year for business in Broward by sharing with me how we can help you be a more successful member of our business community. Please email your comments and suggestions to me at I am listening, and look forward to hearing your issues and concerns.
