Express Payment Drop Off Service for Property Taxes

Broward County’s Records, Taxes and Treasury Division began offering an Express Payment Drop Off Service. The event takes place on the first and last days of the property tax season each year; November 1st and March 31st respectively.

Residents save time and avoid long lines by using the County’s one-day express tax payment drop-off service event, located at the Governmental Center west-side Annex entrance, 115 S. Andrews Ave., in Fort Lauderdale. Tax payments can be submitted to Broward County personnel with official County identification from 10AM to 4PM by bringing your current 2016 tax payment accompanied by original tax bills.

Payments accepted must be in full by check only (personal or certified) issued by a U.S. bank account. Payments are processed on the day they are received. Taxpayers can visit Broward.County-taxes.com to verify that payments have been posted. The stream of traffic moves steadily with little or no delay, and the numbers of residents that use this service has increased over the years from the hundreds to more than a thousand on average at each event.
