Complimentary Vitality Checks Available During Heart Health Fairs

Employees who want to get started on Humana Vitality can take this opportunity to attend a heart health fair this month and complete a complimentary Vitality check. In addition, employees who are interested in participating in the County’s pharmacy co-pay waiver program will need to complete a Vitality Check and enroll in the online wellness program.

Employees will need to have their Humana medical card on hand at time of service. Online registration is required to complete a vitality check. This is to ensure you have more time to enjoy the giveaways and interact with vendors. Don’t forget that Humana Vitality members can earn 2,000 Vitality points for completing a Vitality Check and 400 Vitality points for completing a nicotine screening onsite (applies to nonsmokers only).

Wellness Champions Attend Humana Champ Camp

Some of your very own coworkers attended a Humana Champ Camp, a full-day immersion into HumanaVitality, an online wellness program. Your Broward coworkers, or Wellness Champions, learned more about the program, such as how to get started, how to earn Vitality points, the technology and exciting new enhancements coming soon. The Champ Camp included other employees from both private and public organizations who are starting or, like Broward County, already established in HumanaVitality.

If you are interested in HumanaVitality, contact Employee Benefit Services at 954-357-6729 or speak to a Humana Representative. Also, why not stop one of your Wellness Champions and ask?
