A New Look for the Customer Service
The CSP Program is offered online through the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. CSP is a training program for Broward County Government employees that builds on SUNsational Service® Basic Training and provides a structure for earning certification as a Customer Service Professional. It outlines a course of study which recognizes training and experience.
If you are customer centered and would like to become a CSP, view the new website at cspbroward.org. The CSP Program recognizes work and life experience, as well as training that you have already completed. It provides an opportunity to demonstrate achievement in seven critical service areas and earn a certification as a Customer Service Professional or CSP.

Positive Start Training Gets a New Look
The Learning and Organizational Development Section of Human Resources announces a new way to complete the mandatory supervisor training, Positive Start.
Beginning in February 2013, supervisors will have the option of choosing “Positive Start Flex,” offered three times a year. The new program features 21 hours of classroom time, plus the flexibility to complete additional classes via online learning. Upon completion of the course, the new program offers a Broward County Certificate of Completion and is eligible for credit in the Customer Service Professional Program.
