SBA Offers Drought Assistance for Qualified Small Businesses
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved an Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program for areas of South Florida, including Broward County, impacted by the current extreme drought as of July 7, 2015. Loan amounts can be up to $2 million with an interest rate of 4 percent for small businesses and 2.625 percent for private non-profit organizations of all sizes with terms up to 30 years. Beginning July 1st, the Broward County Records, Taxes and Treasury Division (RTT) is enhancing services offered to County businesses.
